The political world is aflutter with excitement as former Congress president Rahul Gandhi has graciously accepted an invitation to engage in a public discussion with none other than the mysterious Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This is a startling development in the political landscape. This was supposed to be a contest between two masters of language, but instead it’s become a waiting game because of Modi’s noticeable absence from the debate floor, which has left some people scratching their heads and others shaking theirs in dismay.
Gandhi, who was renowned for both his wisdom and his wit, extended the diplomatic olive branch by using the microblogging site X, later referred to as Twitter. “Congress welcomes this initiative,” he stated, “and accepts the invitation for discussion.” You could almost imagine the joyful anticipation with which he composed his tweet, each character being typed with the dexterity of a composer creating a sassy symphony. 
Unfortunately, though, the excitement soon gave way to dismay when the Prime Minister’s much-anticipated response never showed up. Was it buried in the maze of red tape and bureaucracy? Or maybe, as some suspect, it disappeared into the yawning void of Modi’s carefully chosen quiet, a silence so deep it would match the depths of space.
The players were prepared for an epic verbal sparring match, but Modi was noticeably absent, leading his admirers to wonder aloud why he was so reluctant to participate in a contest of cunning.
